Training Module for Distance Education

ACM is working on developing a pioneering new way of conducting in-depth and inexpensive training for parish RCIA leaders and teams.  This distance education approach is uniquely suited to the many hundreds of parishes that are striving to implement the RCIA process, but do not have access to significant in-diocese training, and do not have the funds to attend far away workshops or conferences.

Children’s Catechumenate Materials
These texts (a total of fours books) will be beautiful keepsakes about the Catholic faith written in a manner appropriate to each age group.  Analogous to the adult version, there will be a Leader’s Manual addressing all issues regarding the children’s catechumenate.

Bible Studies for the RCIA Process
Two Bible studies will be available to help parishes meet the needs of inquirers and neophytes.  The Gospel of Mark Bible Study is designed for inquirers and can be used as part of the precatechumenate.  The Acts of the Apostles Bible Study is designed for new Catholics in their neophyte year following the period of mystagogy.

Guide for Sponsors and Godparents
This inexpensive and succinct booklet will be designed to provide a straightforward and practical aide to those serving as sponsors or godparents in the RCIA and RCIC processes in their parish.  Its approach will be pragmatic, spiritual, down-to-earth, and easy to read, enabling parish RCIA leaders to provide a high-quality means of effectively communicating the Church’s intentions for this crucial ministry of companionship and conversion in the catechumenate.
